Service to be held at Crossroads Victory Church, 515 Hillcrest Dr. Montrose Colorado at 10:00 AM Wednesday November 15, 2023

Interment to follow at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado. With full military honors, at 3:00 PM 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction Colorado.

Willis attended South Western Bible College for 2 years prior to being drafted into the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman in the Vietnam era.  He served 2 tours 1968-1969 in Vietnam, 3 tours in Antarctica 1970-1972. Retired after 30 years of service.

Survived by his wife Joy Smith, sons Chris Smith, John Smith, Jack Smith, and Andrew Smith, and Lisa Frasieur (daughter).

Siblings Donna, Phil, and Jim.

Willis and Joy loved RVing, traveling to spots far and wide. He was an avid painter, golfer, fisherman, and hunter. A devoted member of his church and loved by his church family. Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory of Montrose is assisting the family. (970) 249-2121.
