William Wayne ‘Bill’ Fletcher

William Wayne ‘Bill’ Fletcher, age 58, of Montrose Colorado passed away April 17, 2015 at his home. Bill was born January 6, 1957 to S. William and Constance J. (Snyder) Fletcher in Delta, Colorado. He spent his childhood in Del Norte, Colorado and where he attended high school. Bill went on to Delta Vocational Technical School located in Delta as a Certified Peace Officer in Law
Enforcement, and was a Deputy Sheriff for Montrose County for many years.
Bill married DeeAnna Thompson on February 25, 1975 in Taos, New Mexico. They lived in Silverton where Bill was employed as a miner, then relocated to Montrose where they made their home until Bill’s time of death.
Bill’s Surviving family members include his wife, DeeAnna L. Fletcher of the family home; two daughters, Brandy Jones of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Angela (Rick) Howell of Grand Junction, Colorado; two brothers Michael of Texas and Roy (Vanale) of Cahone , Colorado; three sisters Terri and Jennifer (Eddie) of Kingman, Arizona and Shirley of Sweden, and an adopted sister, Terri of Kingman, Arizona; and five grandchildren, Dakota, Wade, Cheyenne Jones, Jazmin and Ricky Howell. Bill was preceded in death by his daughter Jamie Fletcher, his parent and son-in-law T.J.
Memorial contributions may be made to HopeWest Hospice, in memory of Bill Fletcher, P.O. Box 1804, Montrose, Colorado 81402. At Bill’s request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory are assisting the family.
