Wendy Marie Alexander
March 19, 1975 ~ April 2, 2018
Wendy was born in Price, Utah but moved to Olathe, Colorado
where she was raised and received her education. She fought a courageous battle with cancer.
She died at home surrounded by family and friends. She worked at the Dialysis
Clinic Inc. in Montrose, as a cashier, an Olathe EMT, and Miss Fitz Tavern.
She enjoyed the outdoors, getting together with friends and family.
She collected bears, Moose, Snowmen, and many antiques.
She is survived by her sons Seth Nettik and Michael Alexander;
daughter Kara Alexander; her Love, Companion and Care Giver Scott
Ewoldt; parents Merry and Glenn Bennett (April Grace); brothers
Cameron Bennett, Nicholas and Rodney Hershkowitz; sisters Arial
Franklin, Amanda Thomas, Heather Knowlton, Hanna Grace and Julie
Hershkowitz; her precious grandmother Alice Byrnes, JoAnn Bennett;
many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; best friends Sharon,
Sheila, Laura and many others; her second parents Ray and Sharon Baca.
Wendy was preceded in death by her brother Jeffery (Kimberly)
Hershkowitz; grandfathers Garth Tangren, Bob Byrnes, Don Bennett and
step-father Robert Reed.
A family service was held April 6, 2018. She was laid to rest with
her brother in the Olathe Cemetery. A celebration of life potluck
will be held on May 12, 2018, from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., 500 North
Allison Ave., in Olathe, Colorado. Memorial contributions may be made
