Taka Crisler

Taka M. Crisler, age 91, of Montrose CO, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1st, at Larchwood Inns in Grand Junction.

Taka M. Crisler was born March 26, 1927 in Sendia Japan. She spent her childhood and went to school in Sendia, which is the capital city of the Miyagi Prefecture in Japan.

She married Clyde Crisler on Oct. 13, 1958 in Lordsburg AZ.

Since she was married to a husband enlisted to the United States Air Force, she has been stationed at or lived in Crawford CO, Chandler AZ, Lubbock TX, Misawa Japan, Clovis NM and finally settled in Montrose Co in 1973. Taka enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and playing bingo!

Taka is survived by her 2 sons, Elton Crisler of Grand Junction CO, Michael Crisler of Fredrick CO, one daughter, Serena Willson of Montrose CO, 6 grandchildren, Joshua Crisler, Ryan and Eric Willson, Micah Crisler, Jasmine Christensen, Shekinah Crisler, and 9 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, Dec. 10 at 2pm at Crippin Funeral Home in Montrose CO.
