On Tuesday March 21,2023 Sue Wall peacefully passed away at Colorow Care Center in Olathe, Colorado after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Sue was born Sue Ann Zollinger in Big Springs, Texas December 16, 1937 to Alvin and Juanita Zollinger. She attended Big Springs Junior High and Big Springs High School where she belonged to F.H.A., D.O., Acc Choir, and was Miss Big Springs 1953.
She graduated in 1955.
Sue met and married Bob Wall in 1955 and began the life of a military spouse. Over the next eighteen years they raised three children while stationed at multiple bases both stateside and abroad.
She had a great love for animals and was very creative, loved to cook, quilt, paint, and had a fantastic green thumb.
In 1977 Sue made a big move from Biloxi, MS to Denver, Colorado making a new and successful life on her own. She worked for IBM and then for the newly established Apple Inc.
She retired from Apple Inc in 2012 after her Parkinsons diagnosis and moved to unassisted living shortly thereafter.
She is survived by her sister Ede (Dave) Simmons of Montrose, Co; daughter Wendy (Ed) Cooley of Ocean Springs, MS; son Rob (Brooke) Wall of Aurora, CO daughter Tracie (Chris) Manwaring of Payson, Az.
Four grandchildren Lauren, Matthew, Austin, Tristan and Sarah and one Great Grandchild Reese Marilynn.
A very special, heartfelt thank you to her sister Ede, who stuck by her side through it all and to the staff of Colorow Care Center in Olathe and the staff and volunteers at Hope West Hospice. Sue was cared for, loved and admired and will be greatly missed.
As per her request her ashes will be spread on the Mesa in a field of flowers………..=
