Stewart Edward Sparks

Stewart Edward Sparks, 38, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2017 at the Montrose Memorial Hospital, with his family by his side.

Stewart was born on March 9, 1979 in Long Beach, California to Edward and Pamela Sparks.

As a young man, Stewart enjoyed motocross and riding dirt bikes, until an injury ended his racing career. He graduated from Montrose High School and went on to follow in his dad and granddad Kinzer’s footsteps as a machinist. Stewart was a skilled metal worker and entrepreneur. When he wasn’t building his business, you could find him spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed football, classic cars and watching movies. Stewart had a love for life and could find the good in all situations.

Stewart is survived by his twin daughters, Addison and Paisley Sparks of Modesto, California; his parents Ed and Pam Sparks of Montrose, Colorado; his brothers, Fred Gussman and Lee (Jessica) Sparks of Price, Utah; his sister, Julie (Boe) Bearth of Montrose, Colorado; a niece and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
