Sidney O’Brien Moore
January 13, 1942 ~ March 15, 2018

Sidney O’Brien Moore, age 76, of Montrose, Colorado passed away March 15, 2018 in Grand Junction, following a brief illness.
Sidney was born January 13, 1942 to Robert and Anna (Roberts) Moore in Montrose and where he was raised and received his education. Sidney and his brother Ray ran a successful petroleum business until Ray’s passing. Sid then continued working as a truck driver until his health was failing.
Sidney served in the National Guard. He enjoyed shooting and hunting in his younger years. As he grew older he enjoyed spending quality time with his grandson Jude. Many people would say that Sid was one of the nicest people that had met. He was always willing to help anyone in need.
One of his favorite things was making breakfast for Jude or anyone who wanted to visit and enjoy some breakfast..
Survivors include his son Ted (Ariel) Moore of Montrose; two brothers Charles Eugene Moore of Greensboro, N.C., and Gerald Moore of Clear Water, FL; one sister Glenna Moore; one grandson Jude Moore. Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose is assisting the family.
