Shirley E. Lutz

Shirley Eileen Lutz, 89, walked through heaven’s gates on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. She died peacefully and joined our Lord Jesus Christ in the presence of her three children at her home in Montrose, Colorado. She was preceded in this journey by her husband of 45 years, George Lutz, and her parents, Otto and Cecile Newman. She is survived by her three children: Roxie Stephenson, Martin Lutz, and Kristina Gering as well as her seven grandchildren. Shirley was a long time resident of Pueblo, Colorado, where she served her community as an elementary school teacher and Sunday school teacher for First Church of the Nazarene.
