Samuel Narcisco Giron, age 54, passed away on July 3, 2018 due to a car accident in Olathe, CO. Sam was born and raised in Delta, CO. He graduated from the Vo-Tech as a mechanic and a welder. He worked in the orchards, fields, he was a mechanic and maintenance operator. He married Cheryl Lassley, which ended in divorce several years later; and later married Linda Patterson in 1985 in Delta, CO, which also ended in divorce after several years.
Sam enjoyed being with family and friends, being with his three dogs, wood burning and drawing. He loved his motorcycle and scrapping iron.
Sam is survived by his mother Carla Giron; daughters, Amanda Giron and Misty Paez; his son, Jason Lassley; brothers, Tom (Terri) Short; Tex (Becky) Piele; Victor Giron and Loyd Giron; sisters, Tonya Piele; Cathy (Gary) Cox; Susan Harper; Cindy Steel and Vera (Santos) Martinez Ruiz; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Sam was proceeded in death by his father, Silver Giron; three brothers, Silverio “Nokie”, Max and Jesse Giron; his daughter, Amber Giron; one sister, Silveria “Nina” Giron and his uncle, Walt Giron.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Delta City Municipal Cemetery on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made in Sam’s name to Wells Fargo Bank at 500 Palmer Street, Delta, CO 81416 in the care of Thomas Short. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory.
