Ruby Lee Hutchings, age 89, passed away on January 18, 2017 at San Juan Living Center in Montrose, Colorado. Ruby was born on December 1, 1927 to Arthur and Elsa (Garns) Hightower in Rifle, Colorado. Ruby grew up and graduated from Rifle High School.  Ruby married the love of her life James Donald Hutchings and together they had a son William, and two daughters Arlene, and Janet. Ruby belonged to the Wild Horses Foundation and loved her Rocky Mountains.

Ruby is survived by her son William Hutchings of Jackson, WY; her daughters Arlene Hutchings and Janet White, both of Montrose, CO; her grandchildren Stoney Kiethley of Montrose, CO; Cryssy Hutchings of Grand Junction, CO; and Great Grandchildren Cole and Kija Kiethley.

A Memorial Service will be held for Ruby on January 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory. (970)249-2121
