Rosetta Stoffel, 66, of Montrose passed away on February 14, 2013 at Montrose Memorial Hospital. She was born October 9, 1946 to William M. Stoffel and Alice Reeder Stoffel in Flagler, Colorado. Rosetta lived in Cedaredge, Co., for several years. She made her home in Grand Junction, Co., Olathe Co., and the past several years in Montrose, Co.
Rosetta is survived by her brother William E. Stoffel from Cedaredge, Co. Also surviving are her two precious nieces Rhonda and Patty. Her family has lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. She attended Cedaredge Baptist Church as a youth. She loved her family, especially her brother, Jr. and Aunt Edna. She loved putting puzzles together and playing Yatzee with the family. She touched lives everywhere with her loving personality and big beautiful smiles. Her brother and Aunt Edna were with her through her journey in life.
Preceding Rosetta in death were her father, William, her mother, Alice Rose, and her special grandmother Rose Reeder. She is leaving numerous friends through the group home where she resided. Her family will miss her so much. The family is so grateful for the loving care given Rosetta at Montrose Memorial Hospital and her group home.
Graveside services will be held at Cedaredge Cemetery on Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Abbott of the Baptist Church in Cedaredge officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Co.
