Loving Husband, Father and Friend.
Ron (Ronald) Carlyle passed away unexpectedly on Sunday January 19th, 2025, at St Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction. at the age of 64.
He was born April 24th, 1960, in Portland Oregon to Franklin Carlyle and Barbara (Davies) Carlyle, at 19 he lost his father. His mother then went on to marry Bill (Alfred) Foster.
He spent his life in Washington until his 20's, he had one son Franklin Carlyle at that time. After long battles and some not so good choices, he made the choice to come to Colorado to change his life into a beautiful one through the Salvation Army Rehabilitation program where he did just that. He met the love of his life and best friend Connie Hamblin at the Montrose Salvation Army shortly after, they married one year later and spent every day together for the next 40 year's. They spent many of those years in Montrose and moved to Delta, Colorado where they spent the rest of his life together, hand in hand. They had three children together: Vanessa Carlyle, Nadine Carlyle and Brandon Carlyle. He was a father figure to many more: Ray and Brian Moore, Megan Morales, Justin Wetterrich, Thomas Rock, Shelby Head, all of Colorado and Patrick Hatfield of California
He had 5 grandchildren (Damien Zuniga, Alakie Carlyle, Kimber and Kamber Rock (Elias Carlyle). 5 bonus grandchildren (Ivan and Fryja head) and Serenity DuBois. all of delta Colorado. and Sara and Isaiah Coslett of Cedaredge co. He has Many Nieces and nephews around the United States. A brother Raymond Carlyle and his wife Katie of Washington, brother in-law Dale Loney of Minnesota, and sister in-law Vonnie Dalton of Delta, Colorado
He spent his life as a true family man, he worked over 32 years with Montrose Forest products where he was a forklift driver to provide for his family. He was a quiet man that spoke volumes to the ones he loved. He was a proud American, he enjoyed motorcycles, food, family and friends. He will truly be missed by the life's he touched while he was with us.
He is proceeded in death by his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Bill Foster. His Biological Father Franklin Marshall Carlyle, son Franklin Carlyle, baby sister Judy Loney.
He leaves behind his wife Connie Carlyle, children, grandchildren and many friends and family.
