Roberta Ann Lange
March 8, 1940 ~ July 9, 2016
In peace, Roberta Ann Lange passed away of natural causes on Saturday, July 9, 2016 in the early morning hours. Roberta was born March 8, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan. She lived most of her life in the greater Detroit area of Michigan until she moved to Montrose in 2005. Roberta was a great lover of life. She enjoyed community events and hiking the outdoors. Her favorite past time had been traveling and exploring the world. Her companion Ted Webbe had this to share: In less than five years Ted and Roberta packed in 25 years’ worth of travel, fun and love. Trips to Chicago, Detroit, New York, Florence, Rome, Munich, Vienna, Budapest, and Sun City in the winters.
Roberta had many friends in Montrose and of course her hometown of Detroit. Many of her friends were from all of her activities with yoga, water aerobics, and the Red Hats. She loved the live music in Montrose; Thin Air, Susan Walton, and Donny Morales (His version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow).
There will be a Memorial Service for Roberta on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Crippin Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory.
