Robert Reese Floyd

Robert Reese Floyd went Home to the Lord on January 6, 2024, surrounded by his family. He was born in Fort Worth, TX on April 4, 1951, and after 47 years living in Texas, he was drawn to the mountains and moved to Colorado in 1998. He and his wife, Donna, spent the last 29 years traveling and working together.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughters Melinda Monasco, Amanda (Daniel Petrovic), and Catherine (David Ronderos); grandchildren Lauren Monasco and Collin Ronderos; sister Charlene (Kent Worley); sister-in-law Linda (Scott Chisholm); and nieces and nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Dolores Floyd; grandparents Wyatt and Addie Lee Jennings; son-in-law Jonathan Monasco; and in-laws Don and Alice Karr.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to AdventHealth Porter Foundation for the Center for Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy.

Robert will be celebrated on Saturday, January 13, 2024, at 11am at Christ’s Church of the Valley in Montrose, CO (the service will also be livestreamed).
