Robert Dale Hagert, age 67, of Ridgway, CO., passed away August 1, 2018 at San Juan Living Center in Montrose. Robert was born May 10, 1942 to Curtis and Charlotte (Dale) Hagert Sr. in Northwood, ND. He spent his childhood & received his education in Emerado, ND, and graduated high school in 1960 from Larimor, ND. Robert went on to college at Wahpeton State School of Science, in Drafting.
Robert married his wife, Laura Lucille on October 3, 1999 in Ridgway and was a resident of Ridgway, CO., since 1976. Robert and Laura were members of the United Church of the San Juan’s in Ridgway. Robert enjoyed horseback riding, and history of the early west. His occupation was sign making of all sorts but was also a jack of all trades. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Surviving family members include three daughters, Robin Hagert of New York, Lynne Madyson and Nicole Schwartzer; two brothers, Curtis Hagert and David Hagert of Emerad, ND; two sisters Sandra Walters of Arizona and Joann Larson of Kentucky; five grandchildren, eight Step-grandchildren and one great step-grandchild. Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the River Ranch in Ridgway, Co. Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose is assisting the family.
