Robert (Bob) Sturgeon

Robert (Bob) Sturgeon of Delta, Colorado passed away at Willow Tree Care Center in Delta, Co on July 15, 2023. Bob was born on the family farm near Olathe, Co on January 14, 1936 to N.C. and Katie Sturgeon, the fifth of six children.

Bob married his high school sweetheart Margie Colson on January 16, 1955. They celebrated 68 years of marriage. They spent the majority of those years farming and raising livestock until retiring to their Delta home.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters. Bob is survived by his wife Margie, son Terry and wife Cindy, daughter Vickie and husband James, two granddaughters Jamie and husband Matt, Cassie and husband Jordan, a grandson Ty and wife Shannon, and four great grandsons: Evan, Riley, Levi and Ridge.

Services to honor Bob will be Friday, July 21, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Olathe Cemetery.
