Reta Ester Arnold, 95, passed away on April 7, 2016 at the San Juan Living Center

in Montrose, Colorado. She was born on August 21, 1920 in Pittsfield, Ohio to

Clarence Beard and Jessie Whitney Beard.

Reta grew up in Pittsfield, Ohio and graduated from nearby Wellington High

School in Wellington, Ohio in 1938. Reta married her high school sweetheart,

Howard Warren Arnold, in 1941 in Pittsfield, Ohio. They were happily married for

52 years.

Reta was preceded in death by her Father, Clarence; Mother, Jessie; Brothers,

Lyle and Loren and her husband, Howard.

Reta is survived by her sons, Keith Arnold of Montrose, Colorado and Bruce

Arnold of St. Petersburg, Florida, four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Reta requested that no service be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers the family

requests memorial donations be made to Victory Baptist Church, 2890 N.
