R. Orval Wilderson

R. Orval Wilderson passed away March 24, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. Orval was born July 3, 1935 to Rufus Albert and Ruth Edna (Holiday) Wilderson in Dolores, Colorado. Orval spent most of his life in Arizona and Colorado. He graduated from Dolores High School before marrying Helen Lorraine Lay February 6, 1955. Orval enjoyed gardening in his spare time.

Orval is survived by his wife Helen Wilderson of Montrose; two sons, three daughters, and one sister; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, one sister, and one grandson. At Orval’s request cremation has taken place and no services are to be held. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Colorado.
