Peggy Nell Moss

Peggy Nell Moss, passed peacefully on February 15th at 10:35 pm at Foresight Rehab and Hospice facility in Grand Junction, Colorado with her husband at her side.

Peggy was born to Haram and Myrtle (Lucas) Funderburg on January 24th,1952 in Marks, Mississippi.

Peggy married Norman (Moose) Moss on May 14, 1988 in West Memphis, Arkansas. They resided in Arkansas until 2021, they moved to Bedrock Colorado to fulfill their retirement dream. Peggy retired from her career as a Special Education teacher after 15 years, in her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, cooking, traveling, camping, fishing, outdoors, and she was heavily involved in many Community projects. Devout Christian and church goer.

She is survived by her husband Norman, 6 children, 24 grandkids, over 30 great grandkids, and a multitude of Friends

Preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings, son Michael Manes, and grandson Micheal Moss

Services will be held at Paradox Community Center on Saturday February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 am, preceded by burial at Paradox cemetery. Guests are invited back to the community center for a celebration of life.
