Patrick J. “Happy” Noonan
August 30, 1949 ~ January 22, 2015
Patrick “Happy” Noonan, 65, peacefully passed away Thursday morning, January 22, 2015, in Cleveland, Ohio, while visiting his mother.
Patrick was born August 30, 1949 to Helen M. and John P. Noonan, in Cleveland, Ohio. In Cleveland he met his wife of 33 years, and together they moved to Montrose in 1980. They were married June 5, 1982, and had two amazing daughters.
Pat worked for Par Mechanical in Montrose for 30 plus years, establishing lifelong friends along the way. He had a keen sense of being able to do just about anything, and do it well. He mentored many local young men with his abilities in the plumbing field. Pat enjoyed, more than anything else, to be surrounded with young people and always had “advise” for them all.
Pat loved boating and looked forward to spending time at his beloved Lake Powell. He visited his family often in Cleveland and at his family’s “Camp” in Pennsylvania. He was a doting father of two girls…..and to all their friends.
Pat will be remembered most for his contagious smile and laugh. His love for his family, his adoring grandchildren, loyal and steadfast friends, his “herd” of young people, and his generous soul to help anyone that needed it and do it humbly.
He is survived by his wife, Fran, children Kerri and Cj Inda, Lauren and Dustin “Nutty” Brown; Grandchildren Isabella and Ian Inda all of Montrose, loving mother Helen M. Noonan; sister Lynn and husband Larry Miller of Beachwood, Ohio; brother Raymond and wife Britta of Willoughby, Ohio, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters in law, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John Patrick Noonan and sister, Diane M. Silsby.
A celebration of life will be held at the Montrose Elk’s Lodge on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 6:00 P.M. In Lieu of flowers, please direct donations, in Pat’s name, to the Montrose Elk’s Lodge or The charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Co
