Norman Lee Dagley, 85, of Montrose, Colorado passed away at his home on April 21, 2019. He was a resident of Colorado for over 60 years.
Norman was born on October 30, 1933 in Hagerstown, MD. to Ira and Lillian Dagley, Norman was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bessie M. (Lewis) Dagley, and a daughter Janet (Dagley) Barr.
Norman is survived by his partner Stella Foster, a brother, Franklin Dagley, a sister, Irais (Charlie)Barrett. His sons; John W. Dagley, Ronnie C. Dagley (Shani Dagley), Garry H. Dagley, and 9 grandchildren.
Norman served in the US Army in 1947, with the 1st infantry division in Europe, (The Big Red One). He worked as a superintendent in road construction throughout the state of Colorado.
Norman loved to hunt and fish and spend time with friends and family.
Viewing is scheduled from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Crippin Funeral Home, a graveside service will be held at graveside at Grand View Cemetery at 2:30pm Saturday, April 27, 2019. with military honors and Pastor Paul Nystrom presiding.
