Natalie D. Bowen, age 76, of Montrose, Colo. died May 5, 2014 at her home. Natalie was born February 22, 1938 to Frank O. and Eliza L. (Tyson) in Hazelton, Pennsylvania. She spent her childhood in Hazelton, New York, and Los Angeles, California. Natalie graduated from Westchester High School in Los Angeles, and went on to College graduating as a Registered Nurse. She worked at Harbor General Hospital and several nursing homes.

Natalie married Jack E. Bowen on July 16, 1959 in Santa Monica, California. They both loved the outdoors, and both loved to hunt and fish. Upon retirement, they moved from California, to Montrose, Colorado until their time of death. Survivors include 2 sons: Donald Bowen and his wife Adrienne, of Montrose; Thomas Bowen, of Montrose, 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth and Victoria Bowen, of Montrose.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Natalie’s life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel. At Natalie’s request, cremation has taken place and the service will conclude at the Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Co
