Nancy Krickbaum (Mcreynolds)

Nancy Krickbaum, age 81, of Montrose, died February 22, 2020.

She was born January 11, 1939 to William and Nina (Wachter) Fillmore in Palmyra, NE. At age 10, she was adopted by Lynn and Ruby McReynolds of Scottsbluff, NE and lived there until her marriage to Keith Krickbaum in 1958. They were later divorced but remained close friends.

She is survived by sons David and wife Joni of Arvada (grandsons Erik and Kyle), Bruce and wife Carrie of Ridgway (grandchildren Quinn and Anna), and Brian and wife Cindy of Golden (granddaughter Cassie), and a daughter, Susan Reich and husband Garrett of Montrose (grandchildren Sierra and Trevor). She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers, whom she reconnected with many years after their adoptions.

She enjoyed quilting, reading, knitting, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and spent much time researching her family’s genealogy.
