Michael Lane Gipe

Michael Lane Gipe passed away July 14, 2019 from complications from Parkinson’s disease. Michael was 72.

Michael was born September 13, 1946 in Denver, Colorado to George Gipe Jr. and Jane Adams. He spent his childhood years in Englewood, Colorado. He moved to Montrose, CO later in life.

Michael enjoyed many things in life. Some of his favorite things to do were playing instruments. He enjoyed playing the piano, organ and mandolin.

Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Gipe. He is survived by his father, George Gipe Jr; brother James Gipe; four sons; George Barker and wife Brandi, Jared Gipe and Todd Gipe; Andrew Gipe and wife Melissa; and 14 grandchildren.

Funeral services have not yet been set. Crippin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
