Maudie E. Leach (Underwood)

Maudie E. Leach, age 87, longtime Montrose resident, passed away Monday, December 12, 2016 at Brookdale Sunrise Creek in Montrose.  Survivors include son Ron (Karen) of Grand Junction, Colorado; four grandchildren, Sarah and family of Austin, Texas, Jeff and family of Seattle, Washington, Matt and Michelle of Grand Junction.  Also surviving is Maudie’s sister, Polly Sinner of Montrose; and four great-grandchildren.  Maudie was preceded in death by her husband Howard, son Rob Leach and her parents Elmer and Audie Underwood.  At Maudie’s request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.  Inurnment of cremains will take place at the Delta Municipal Cemetery.  Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose is assisting the family.
