Marlyn was born August 14, 1937 in Wichita, Kansas to Harvey Jay Cline Sr. and Ermagene Williams. He spent his childhood in Wichita and high school at Enterprise Academy in Enterprise, Kansas, graduating in 1955.

Marlyn attended Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he met his future wife, Geraldine Enqstorm. They married in December 1956 and enjoyed 62 years together. He attended the University of Nebraska, School of Dentistry and graduated in 1963. He then moved to Montrose, Colorado and started his dental practice.

Marlyn enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing golf, backpacking, fishing, hunting, and restoring antique cars

Marlyn is survived by his wife, Gerry of Montrose; sons; Jeffery and wife Gwynne, Jon Cline and wife Monica; daughter Jill Cline, twelve grandchildren and four great granddaughters.

A memorial Service to celebrate Marlyn’s life will be on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Montrose Seventh Day Adventist Church in Montrose, Colorado.
