Mark Joseph Rovito

Mark Joseph Rovito passed away July 2, 2015 in his home with his wife and brother by his side.  Mark was born August 9, 1955 in East Stroudsburg, Pa.  He spent most of his childhood in Stroudsburg PA, where he graduated Stroudsburg High School.  He resided there until marrying his wife Susan, and moving to Montrose, CO in 1992.  Mark had a great passion for skiing and became a ski instructor for Telluride Ski Resort and completed his 19^th year this past season. He had his own computer consulting business and co-owned Telluride Express with his wife Sue.

Mark loved to hike, bike, camp and fish, but during the last few years he spent many hours riding his motorcycle and spreading his love for Jesus.  He was the Chaplin for the Montrose Chapter of the Christian Motorcycle Association and also involved with the BMW Motorcyle Club of Grand Junction.

Mark is survived by his wife Susan Rovito of Montrose, CO; his brother Ron Rovito of East Stroudsburg, PA, his sister Jill Guerro of Wind Gap, PA, his 2 step-Daughters Tracy DiCara of Quakertown and Amy Chism of Montrose, CO and their families. Mark is preceded in death by his parents Gilbert and Dorothea Rovito, and his brother Alan Rovito.

There will be memorial service celebrating Mark’s life on August 1, 2015 at Montrose Christian Church at 10:00 a.m.  Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home and Crematory.
