Marguerite “Peggy” Nettie Martin
October 17, 1920 ~ January 28, 2018

Those who knew her will remember my Mom’s lifelong motto, “I’ll try.” No matter the task or challenge set before her, she was always willing to give it her best. After Daddy died, continuing to live without him was the hardest thing she ever had to do, but for nearly ten years, she tried.
Marguerite Nettie “Peggy” Martin was born on October 17, 1920 and passed January 28, 2018 at Community Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. Thank you to the doctors, nurses and all the other care givers in Grand Junction, Montrose, and Olathe who helped Mom live the healthiest life she could this past decade.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, friend and partner of 67 ½ years, Gene Craig Martin, and survived by their only child Bonnie Del Raines, Son-in-law James (&Wendy) Cole; Grandson, James Martin (& Linda) Cole; Granddaughter, Jenny Del (& Joe) Jimenez; Great-Grandsons, James Wyatt Cole; JD Jimenez; JC (& Brianna) Jimenez; Jake (& Vanessa) Jimenez; and Great-Great Grandchildren, James Craig Jimenez and Ally Jade Jimenez.
She also leaves behind many friends who will remember and miss the proud Marine wife and devoted mother. Semper Fi, Mom.
