Marie J. Kelekian,

February 3, 1924 ~ October 19, 2018

Marie J. Kelekian, age 94, passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Cathy in Montrose, CO.

Marie was born on February 3, 1924 in Port Ewen, NY where she spent most of her life, and was a kind and caring person of seven siblings.  She was the eldest daughter of the late Patrick and Marion (Wouters) O’Donnell.  Marie attended Kingston High School and worked for Hercules Powder Company, American Heart Association and Key Bank Trust Department.  She spent many hours volunteering at Port Ewen Liabrary, Kylne Esopos Museum and Peoples Place in Kingston, New York.  Most of her life was spent in Port Ewen where she enjoyed golfing, gardening and reading.  Marie was a member of the Port Ewen Church of the Presentation.

Marie is survived by two daughters, Catherine Kelekian of Montrose and Alice Kelekian Limber of Ohio; two sisters Patricia Gropruso, and Nancy O’Donnell and brother Frank O’Donnell; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard N. Kelekian and son Richard J. Kelekian, sister Delores McClary (O’Donnell), brothers John O’Donnell and Michael O’Donnell.

A Private family gathering is planned for the spring of 2019, when reuniting with family will take place.  Marie’s family would like to thank Hope West Hospice for their care and support during this time.  In Memory of Marie, memorial contributions may be made to Hope West Hospice, 725 S. 4^th Street, Montrose, Co. 81401.  Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory in Montrose is assisting the family.
