Marguerite Mae Munyon (Craig)

Marguerite Mae Munyon of Olathe CO Passed away January 3, 2024 at the age of 90. Marguerite was born in Rocky Ford CO December 28, 1933 to Jay and Alberta ( Shoemaker) Craig. She spent her childhood in Timpas CO where she attended a one room school. She then attended High School in La Junta CO. Marguerite married Jack White in 1952 but were divorced a short time later. In 1954 she married Kenneth Munyon. They shared their lives together on the family farms. When her farming duties slowed she began cleaning houses, offices and her Church. Marguerite was a kind and selfless woman that loved the Lord and helping others. She was an excellent seamstress and made many beautiful dresses including her daughters wedding dress.

Marguerite is survived by a son Matt Munyon of Olathe CO and a daughter Debbie (Lance) Holbrook of Delta CO. Brother Vernon Craig of Pueblo CO and sister Evelyn Reed of Canyon City CO. 5 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren, and many Nieces and Nephews. Marguerite was preceded in death by her first husband Jack White, husband Kenneth Munyon, and Sons Randy White, Dean Munyon and her parents.

Services will be Saturday, January 13th at 1:00pm The Olathe First Assembly of God Church 402 US 50 Buisness Loop in Olathe CO. Pastor Justin Atchley presiding. Crippin Funeral Home in Montrose (970-249-2121) will be assisting the family.
