Luanna Jones (Galloway)

Luanna Galloway Jones passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 90, in Mesquite, Nevada. She was born in Montrose, Colorado on April 12, 1933 to Harry Donald Galloway and Esta Sarah Hinton.

She grew up in Montrose and graduated from Montrose High School. She worked for the telephone company as a service representative. She enjoyed golfing, reading and playing card. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her children, Bill (Lori) Stites, Steve (Lynne) Stites, David (Glenda) Stites, Donna (Terry) Austin, Danny (Rhonda) Stites, as well as 17 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and her sister Doris Kessler. She was preceded in death by her husband Jay Jones, parents and 5 siblings.

A memorial service for Luanna will be held on Sunday February 25, 2024 from 1-4 in Beaver Dam, Utah. A funeral service will be held on March 1, 2024 at 11:00 am at Crippin Mortuary (802 E. Main St., Montrose, CO). Interment will be at the Cedar Creek Cemetery.
