God graces those who can ably carry His cross. In Lori, He found the ideal servant.

Lori Lee Perpar (nee’ Clark) passed away on January 2, 2016, following a valiant battle with Cancer.

Lori was a study in fortitude. This can be said in many, but living the words and the sentiment is unique and meritorious. Lori took as much control as a human person can undertake under dire physical circumstances. Lori displayed a depth of character that would not readily apparent on the surface. There, it appeared carefree and loving while Beneath lay the truth; a WILL constructed of iron.

To be content, to manage each, trial, small or large, as they presented themselves, to think long term, while being pulled to more immediate needs, to love her husband, her grandchildren, her immediate family and her multitude of friends.

Many people go through life and are quietly responsible for inspiring them. Lori reached a great many individuals with her quiet perseverance and un-ending optimism, which was apparent till the very last moment.

Lori lived a full life in a short amount of time. She was a civil engineer, a member of the Friendship Quilters of Western Colorado, Huggie Bunch Quilters, and Crossfit. She loved the outdoors: biking, hiking, and walking her dogs.

Lori is the daughter of the late Verna Engel Clark and the late Phillip Nolan Clark. Lori is survived by her devoted husband, John Perpar, her sister Lisa (Keith) Price of Texas, her brother Brad Clark of New Mexico, Step-sons: John M. and Kris Perpar and Mark an Melissa Perpar, grandchildren: Tyler, Morgan, Jake, Carter and Caroline (Perpar), niece and nephew, Emalie Price and Alex Price of Nebraska.

A service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. A short reception will be held at the Church. The services will conclude at the Church.
