Lois Elizabeth Halpin (Krause)
May 5, 1926 to July 29, 2014
Lois Elizabeth Halpin was born to Emil and Emma (Busch) Krause in Webster, South Dakota. She was married to the late James P. Halpin for 33 solid years.
She is survived by her eight children, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother, sisters and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Lois had a very successful 40 year career in the Automobile Business in the Denver area, serving as an Office/Business Manager, and was often the sole provider for a family of ten. She lost her brave, tenacious battle to ailments, too numerous to list here, on July 29, 2014. She will be greatly missed, but she WILL be remembered deep in our hearts.
A memorial service, in celebration of her life, will be held on August 6, 2014 at 11:00 am, at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel in Montrose, CO. The service will conclude at the chapel. An additional service will be held at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church in Conifer, CO. at 11:00 am, August 9, 2014. Inurnment will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery, August 11, 2014 at 11:30 am, Staging Area B, where she will join her husband, James Halpin, who died April 5, 1983. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory.
