Linda Mraule, 68, passed away September 11th, 2018 at her home in Montrose, CO. A rosary service will be held at Crippin Chapel Sunday, September 16th at 6:30pm. Linda was born January 27th, 1950 in Fort Collins, CO to Walter J. Waldow and Peggy Jutten Waldow. Linda grew up in Olathe, CO and graduated with honors from Olathe High School in 1968, during which time she participated in such activities as marching band, radio club, and driving her red convertible Sunbeam. She later graduated with a degree in Secondary Education from Fort Lewis College in 1972. Linda taught in the Montrose School District beginning in 1972 and retiring in 2010. Linda met the love of her life while on bus duty with the help of her soon to be sister-in-law Betty Golle. Linda and Tom married on July 24, 1977 and enjoyed 41 years of happiness. They were blessed with two children, Lynnsey and Jason, who were the light of her life until her grandson Evan Bondi was born in 2014. Linda enjoyed a life of camping, travel, raising llamas, and laughing. In her spare time, Linda enjoyed meeting with her coffee group, investment club, and going to yard sales.

Of her many accomplishments, Linda was the proudest of her loving and caring family. She is survived by her husband Tom Mraule, two children Lynnsey Bondi and Jason Mraule, siblings, Janice Poole and Jonathan Waldow, son-in-law Aaron Bondi and grandson Evan Bondi.

Linda was a six-year cancer survivor. To honor this, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the San Juan Cancer Center at Montrose Memorial Hospital.
