Linda Marie Smith, 65 years old from Olathe, CO., died in the early morning hours on Monday, April 17th, 2017 at Montrose Memorial Hospital.

Linda was born on November, 25th, 1951 in Montrose, CO. Linda was a lifelong area resident; calling Montrose and Olathe home from her birth until her passing. She was a graduate of Montrose High School and spent over 20 years working locally as a wonderfully talented florist, which was as much a passion of hers as it was her career.
She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 45 years John Smith; brother Eddie Dicamillo (Patty Dicamillo) ; her daughter Michelle (Smith) Lane; her son J.D. Smith, grandchildren Lanny Trumble, Kali Botts, Sami Lane, Teja Smith, Pacey Smith and great-granddaughter Ashlynn Botts. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Sam and Agnes Dicamillo and granddaughter Tori Lane.

Linda was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was very proud of her family, especially her precious grandchildren. Linda loved holidays and family get-togethers and any chance to flex her amazing culinary skills in the kitchen. She was known for her incredible cooking, especially her homemade raviolis; you never left Linda’s house with an empty stomach. She loved her family so much, that she spent a lot of time researching her Italian lineage and family tree. This led her on an adventure of a lifetime as she reunited with some distant relatives and traveled to Italy to meet and spend some time with them. Her memory for birthdays and anniversaries was impeccable and she made sure the ones dearest to her were never forgotten and always celebrated. She was a faithful member of LDS church and was sealed to her family in the Temple in May of 1982. Linda was loved and will be missed by many. Her incredible and memorable laugh will remain in the hearts of all that were lucky enough to know her.
