Linda L. Mcafee (Brown)

Linda L. McAfee, of Crawford died Tuesday evening, July 29, 2014 at San Juan Living Center in Montrose.  Linda was born June 13, 1945 to Lewis and Dorris (showman) Brown in Dallas, Texas.  As a young child, her family moved to Denver, Colorado, where she received her education and graduated from South High School in Denver.  Linda married her husband Kenneth McAfee, and in 1999 She and Kenneth moved to Crawford, Colorado where they made their home until her time of death.

Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She had a great love for her family.  She also enjoyed spending time with her cats, they were special to her.

Surviving family members include her husband Kenneth McAfee of Crawford; her son Lewis McAfee of Crawford; her brother Lee brown of Tucson Arizona; step-daughters Kimberly Abeyta of South Carolina and Kelly L. McAfee Kidwell of Denver; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

At Linda’s request, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Colorado
