LeRoy “Roy” Thomas Cano of Montrose Colorado, passed away at his home on November 22, 2022. He was 95 years of age.

Roy was born in Los Angeles, California on April 30, 1927, and graduated from Fremont High School in 1945. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1945.

Roy was a highly regarded elevator mechanic/adjuster with Otis Elevator in Los Angeles for thirty years. He retired in 1992 and headed for Montrose in 2000. He enjoyed many years traveling with his beloved wife and volunteered his time and storytelling skills at the Pavilion where he was happy to find several great new friends.

He will be missed by his wife of 42 years, Harriet M. Cano; sons Leonard L. Cano (Dana) and Daryl C. Cano (Ruth). Roy was loved by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Roy requested that there be no funeral service.
