Leaster H Stigall

Leaster H. Stigall, age 90, of Montrose, passed away on Sept. 28, 2023. Leaster was born on Aug. 19, 1933, to Oscar and Ollie Stigall.

Leaster enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, gathering for picnics and holidays, and going to sporting events. His quick smile and humor were enjoyed by all, and he was always ready to make new friends to spar with.

Leaster was predeceased by parents, Oscar and Ollie; his wife of 65 years, Kathleen; sister, Oneita, and brother, JB.

He is survived by his sister, Martha; his children, Paul, Karen, Gregg and wife, Lori; his grandchildren, Alex and Sara, Victoria and Nick Sullivan, Heather and Chris Easton, Luke Stigall, Cherica and Bryan Rodriguez, Daniel and Victoria Stigall, Jonathon and Myranda Stigall, Kalyn and Ashlyn Stigall, and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

A service will be at St. Daniel’s Church, 614 Fifth St., Ouray, Colorado, on Friday, Oct. 6, 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served at St. Daniel’s Church immediately following the service. Burial will be at Grand View Cemetery, 16300 6450 Court, Montrose, Co. Crippin Funeral Home of Montrose is assisting the family.
