Lauren Renee Gillespie

Lauren Renee Gillespie, beloved daughter, sister, and fiancé, died Tuesday, February 26 at her home in Montrose, Colorado.

Lauren was born on Leap Day, February 29, 1988 in Buena Park, California. Lauren was an avid animal lover and in 2016 she graduated from Front Range Community College as a registered Veterinary Technician. She touched the lives of many and will continue to live on in their hearts – remembered as a smart, headstrong, and caring young woman who loved her family, friends, and animals. She is survived by her mother Donna Slattery, fiancé Caleb Cramer, brother Jason Gillespie, sister in law Devon Naples, father Rodrick Gillespie, grandparents William and Carolyn Gillespie, and her dogs Jackson and Oliver. Services to celebrate Lauren’s life will be held this summer, on a date to be announced. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Crippin Funeral Home.
