Kent Reid Hill

Kent Reid Hill of Montrose, CO, died from complications of early onset Alzheimer’s disease, on Sunday, February 5, 2023. He was 63.

Kent was born on January 4, 1960, to Walter and Alice Hill in Wray, CO.

Kent served in the Air Force as a Security Specialist from 1978 to 1982.

He attended Nazarene Bible College and earned a master’s degree at Trinity Theological Seminary in Indiana.

Kent was proud to have served in our nation’s military. He pastored in Kansas, Colorado and Pennsylvania. He loved God’s Word and studying and teaching. His final pastorate was in Pennsylvania for 17 years. He leaves a legacy of love for the Lord and his family.

He married Laurie Hill on July 9, 1983.

He is survived by his wife of Montrose; two daughters, Kristin (Vic) Palacios of Montrose, Kara Hill of Montrose; two granddaughters, Zoe and Beatrix Palacios; a brother, Lannie (Nancy) Hill of Florida and a sister, Evelina Martin of Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at Celebration Church on February 11^th at 12 pm.

Burial will be at Grand View Cemetery in Montrose, CO.
