Kenneth L Olson formerly of Sinclairville, NY passed away March 8, 2014 at the San Juan Living Centre in Montrose, CO.  A life-long Chautauqua County resident he was born July 22, 1932 in Busti, NY the son of Charles and Mabel Olson. He was husband to Lily Olson for 58 years. He graduated with the class of 1950 from Lakewood High School.  He was proud to have served in the US Army as a radar mechanic during the Korean War. He was a self-employed mason and built several fireplaces in the Jamestown and Adirondack areas.  He is survived by his wife, Lily. Three children, Cindy Elliott of Erie PA, Suzanne Olson of Ridgway, Co., Ken Olson and wife Josselin of Norwood, CO. Three grandchildren, Forest Olson of Norwood, CO, Eric and Brandon Kowalski of Erie, Pa. A brother, Leonard Olson of Jamestown. And several beloved nephews and nieces.

He was peceded in death by his parents, a sister, Audrey Singer, brothers, Norman and Charles Olson and an infant daughter, Lisa Rae. A small memorial service will be held with the immediate family in Norwood, Co. A memorial service will be held at the Busti, NY Cemetery later in the spring.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SPCA of Chautauqua County or Lily’s Hope c/o Zonta Club of Jamestown, PO Box 913 Jamestown, NY 14701.  Cards may be sent to Lily at 405 Kismet St. Ridgway,CO 81432.  Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Co.
