Karin was born on January 18, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her Parents were: Raymond Rose & Edith Broadbent.

She was raised in Media, Pennsylvania. Attended Penncrest High School, graduating in 1971. After High School she moved to Tucson, Arizona. She worked at University of Arizona for 2 years, then moved to Boulder, Colorado. She was active in Martial Arts & became a member of Mensa, and then Intertel, one step above Mensa. In 1985 she met her Husband Wilson R. Jones at a dance class that he was teaching. In 1988, they moved to Ridgway, Colorado. Wilson worked for US. West & Karin started working for Earthworks Teepee Co in Ridgway. In 1990 Karin applied to the U.S. Postal Service. She passed their qualifying test and worked as a Rural Mail Carrier for 25 years in Montrose, Colorado. In the meantime, she was Secretary for the Dallas Park Board for over 18 years. She was a member of the Ouray Elks Lodge for many years as well. After retiring from USPS she became involved in Karaoke which she loved a great deal.

Karin is survived by her Husband, Wilson R. Jones; her Brother, Stewart Rose; Stepchildren, Karen Shaw, Kimberly McNicol & Kenneth Jones; Niece, Mellisa Hammelbaucher; Nephew, Joshua Rose; Son In Laws, Richard Shaw & Brent McNicol; Grand Children, Danielle Shaw, Jamie Ryanne Shaw, Taylor Cheyenne McNicol & Cody McNicol, and 2 Great Grand Children.

Karin requests donations go to Second Chance Humane Society or Local Food Bank.

Services will be a Celebration of Life/Karaoke Party to be announced in the near future.
