Joseph (Joey) Edward Schmidt unexpectedly passed away on March 16, 2016. He was born February 26, 1974 to Davie Schmidt and Patsy Anstine. He married Crystal Schell on March 7, 2001. Joe and Crystal moved to Farmington, New Mexico so Joe could follow his career in golf. Golf courses were Joe’s passion and he loved what he did. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 15 years, family and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made in Joey’s name at Four Corners Community Bank at 500 West Main Street, Farmington, New Mexico 87401. There will be a viewing for Joey on Thursday, March 24, 2016 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Crippin Funeral Home Chapel in Montrose, Colorado. There will be a Memorial Service for Joey at Christ’s Church of the Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2016, in Montrose, Colorado. Cope Memorial Chapel of Farmington, New Mexico and Crippin Funeral Home in Montrose, Colorado are both co-assisting the family.
