Jonathan Edward Free

Jonathan Edward Free, 57, resident of Delta, Colorado went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, March 25^th, 2021. He was preceded in death by his eldest son, Kyle Edward Free, of Grand Junction, Colorado. He is survived by his loving wife, Lilian C. Free, of Delta, Colorado, his son, Justin O’Neal Free, of Casper, Wyoming, his son, Jeremy Blake Free, of Grand Junction, Colorado, his daughter, Megan Nicole Pipkin, of Cortez, Colorado, his eight beautiful grandchildren, his sister, Charlene Free, his brother Marcus Free, and many other cousins, aunts, uncles and loved ones. Jonathan, originally a Texas native, was the leader of the Delta-Montrose chapter of Legacy Outfitters, an organization aimed towards leading men with a love of the outdoors to a relationship with Christ. His passions in life were evangelism, hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, camping, skiing, art, photography, creative writing, good coffee, and playing board games with his family and friends. Jonathan was an extremely talented software designer, computer programmer, tech writer, developer, graphic artist, and project manager who contributed so much to the advancement of aeronautics, energy development, and many other vital industries. A memorial service is being held to honor his memory at River’s Church in Delta, Colorado at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 2^nd, 2021.
