John Oleen Marble, age 29, of Redvale, Colorado, died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 12, 2016.  John was born December 31, 1986 to Curtis and Pamela (Hadden) Marble at Stone, Idaho.

John’s family moved to Nucla, Colorado, where he received his education and graduated high school.  He married Hollie Marie Fritz on December 6, 2008 in Nucla.  And to this union had two wonderful boys, Dillon John Marble, age 6 and Jeremy Douglas Marble, age 3.  They moved to Redvale and made their home.

John served as an Emergency Medical Technician and firefighter in the area, along with an Equipment Operator for San Miguel County Road and Bridge.  To know John was an honor and a privilege. He was always there to help anyone in need and lend a helping hand.  He had a sense of self satisfaction to assist others.  John loved the outdoors and the mountains.  He loved his family and will be deeply missed by them all.

Surviving family members include his loving wife, and his two sons, of Redvale; Parents Curtis and Pamela Marble of Telluride and Nucla; two brothers Ivan Lovendahl and James Summerahl; sisters Christy Parker, Alta Marble, and Becky Steele; father & mother in law, Sean & Carol Fernandez, father-in-law Chris Fritz and mother-in-law Angela Archuleta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Nucla Town Park with Pastor Clint Perry officiating.  Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory of Montrose is assisting the family.
