Janie Haag (Tipotsch)

Janie Tipotsch Haag passed away on January 29, 2019 in her home in Tucson, AZ. She was 65 years old.

Janie was born October 1, 1951 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Robert and Jean Moore. Janie was later

adopted by stepfather Rudy J. Tipotsch, of Durango, who passed away just 19 days after Janie.

Janie graduated from Durango High School in 1970. She owned & managed the Nifty Fifty Club in

Phoenix, Az until 2016 when she retired due to health issues.

Janie was a loving mother, grandmother & friend. She had a strong faith in God & truly believed there

was good in everyone. She loved her family and her dogs with great passion. She was loving and kind to

all & could always bring a smile and a laugh to your face.

Janie is survived by her only child, son Stephan Heick & her only grandchild Nathan Heick who reside in

Hawaii. She is also survived by her brother Mark Tipotsch of Montrose, Co. & her sister Debi Beyer

Fazio, of Tuscon Az.

Janie is greatly missed but her memory will always live in our hearts.

A memorial service in loving memory of Janie Tipotsch Haag will be held at the Crippin Funeral Home Chapel in Montrose on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., Graveside services will follow at Colona Cemetery south of Montrose. Family & friends are invited to attend. Sympathy cards & flowers will be accepted on behalf of the family by Crippin Funeral Home.
