Janet Arthur passed away July 21, 2015 at the Montrose Memorial Hospital in Montrose, Colorado. Janet was born October 20, 1946 to Earl and Sadie (Dillon) Babb in Hayden, Colorado. Janet went to school in Craig, CO, Vernal, UT, and Themopolers, CO before graduating from Montrose High School. Janet attended the Delta Montrose Technical College and became a licensed practitioner nurse. On August 14, 1965 Janet married the love of her life David Arthur. Janet enjoyed baking, knitting; she loved her family, spoiling her grandchildren, and taking care of others. Janet spent her life serving others through 33 years in the field of nursing in hospitals, nursing homes, and physicians’ offices. She spent four years nursing in Montrose, CO and 29 years in Moab, UT. She was only a phone call away!

Janet is survived by her husband David Arthur Sr. of Montrose, CO; her son David (Sandra) Arthur Jr. of Macomb, IL; her daughters Danace (Mark) Yohnson of Moab, UT; and Deana (Thee) Sanchez of Grand Junction, CO; one brother John Babb of St. Louis, IL; one sister Kim Evans of Casper, WY; five grandchildren Joel, Kendra, Tori, DaVanna, and Cody; and two great grandchildren Allyson, and Xavier.

Janet is preceded in death by her mother Sadie Babb. Cremation and a small family service has taken place. Arrangements have been under the care of Crippin Funeral Home and Grand View Cemetery.
