Jack Dillon Wilson, Sr., 88, was called home to Suppertime with his Lord Jesus Christ on March 9, 2014.  Born in Bethel Springs, Tennessee, to Lottie Dillon Wilson and William Dallas Wilson.  Jack grew up in Memphis, Tennessee.  He retired in Olive Branch, Mississippi.  Jack and wife, Carrie moved to Montrose in 2002.  Jack worked 24 years in the textile industry and 17 years at Cleo Wrap, maker of Christmas Paper.

A member of Parkway and Broadway Baptist Church in Memphis, he was active with youth groups.  He was an avid auto lover, “Always a Ford man.”  Jack enjoyed playing solitaire.

Jack is survived by his wife of 67 years, Carrie Wilson; daughter Suzanne Wilson Gratton, son-in-law Gary; son Jack Dillon Wilson, Jr. (known to family as Chip)…all of Montrose; Jack had five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  A Memorial Service to remember the life of Jack Dillon Wilson, Sr., will be held Friday, March 14, 2014 at 10:30am at Christ Church of the Valley.  The service will conclude at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Christ Kitchen, in memory of Jack Wilson, P.O. Box 3013, Montrose, Co. 81402.  Arrangements are under the care of Crippin Funeral Home & Crematory, Montrose, Co.
