Howard Kinney

Howard “Aaron” Kinney of Olathe, Colorado passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
Aaron was born on December 21, 1936 to Juston and Bernice Kinney in Ridgway, Colorado, where he
spent his early years and attended high school. He was also married in Ridgway to Phyllis Louise Caddy on June 19, 1956.
Aaron was a resident in the Olathe and Montrose area for 50 years and had also lived in Burwell, NE. Lolo, MT. and Delta, CO.
Aaron mainly worked as a rancher, then he became a dump truck driver in his later years. He seemed to have some of his happiest times in his life while driving his Peterbilt Dump Truck. In addition to his Peterbilt, Aaron Loved raising, and training horses. He also enjoyed team roping, being a good cowman and farmer.
Surviving relatives include his wife Phyllis of Olathe, Sons, Rod, of Ridgway, CO. and Rob, of Silt, CO.
A brother, Clark, of Whitehall, MT. a sister, Mardell, of Las Vegas, NV. Grandchildren, Sarah and Kasey, and a great grandson, Dre. Arron was preceded in death by a grandson, John.
A memorial service for Aaron will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Crippin Funeral Home in Montrose, Colorado
