HN Alex Michael Sanderson, USN

HN Alex Michael Sanderson, USN, 20, of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014.  He was born on April 25, 1994 in Bay City, Michigan and moved to Montrose, Colorado in 2008.  He was a graduate of Montrose High School, attended Utah State University and joined the Navy in 2013.  Alex served as a Corpsman in the United States Navy at Camp Lejeune.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Grand View Cemetery with Military Honors.

Alex is survived by his mother: Deann Balash-Boughton and step-father Chief John Boughton of Montrose, Colorado; father: Steven Sanderson of Kawkawlin, Michigan; brothers: Kyle Sanderson of Kawkawlin, Michigan and Eric Sanderson of Detroit, Michigan.
